Authenticity is at an unprecedented all time high as the most desirable characteristic in today’s world. Currently, it has become the societal norm to showcase the vulnerabilities of Celebrities, CEO’s, and Politicians, not necessarily as a means to tear people down, but to bring them up. To relay to the world that even perfect people, are imperfect. Authenticity and vulnerability are the new benchmarks for our youth to thrive as future leaders. Being your authentic self should be celebrated! What prevents YOU from oozing individuality on everyone you meet?
In her book ‘The Top Five Regrets of the Dying,’ Australian palliative care nurse Bronnie Ware, documented the dying epiphanies of her patients. The most common regret from people in their final days was: “I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.” How much of your day is spent on the goals, wishes and needs of others? When was the last time you did something for the first time, or that was just for YOU? It is essential to invest time outlining what is important to us, both in our day to day and with larger bucket list goals, and stay true to character as we strive to meet them.
How motivated do you feel going to work on Monday? Are you filled with dread? Do you feel like you have to leave a part of who you are at home, hide your true feelings, shed the role of parent or spouse while you are at work? These are all signs you may be in misalignment with your job. The average person spends just under 100,000 hours working in their lifetime. That’s a lot of days to spend doing something counterintuitive to who YOU are. What if I told you it didn’t have to be this way?
Your values are at the core of everything! They are what motivate your decisions, fears and actions. When you are out of sync with your values you may feel sick at the thought of returning to work on Monday, you may dread interactions with friends or colleagues, you might feel depressed, anxious, angry and resentful. Your productivity is down, you get too many colds, sleep too much, or too little… others may start to avoid you. This is called “misalignment”, and trust me…you can’t hide it!
Our first task is to identify, define, and really unpack your unique set of values and bring them into consciousness. Once we have done this, we can learn how to leverage your values to work for you, rather than against you so you can let go of behaviours that are counter to your success, and achieve alignment with your authentic self.
Once we have established a sound foundation, we can create a solid Vision and GamePlan to ACTIVATE YOUR VALUES to achieve success in all three facets of YOU!

Answering the seemingly simple question “Who are you?” is no simple task!
We spend our childhood influenced by our parents, guardians, and teachers. As we evolve and grow, we are then subject to the lessons of our partners, co-workers and friends. These outside influencers help mold and shape who we are, but at our core… we are as unique as our own fingerprints or DNA.
